Construction Services at work for you and for Pittsburgh
We find and rehab the homes for our client families through our Construction Services program. We are a fully insured General Contractor, registered with Allegheny County and the State of Pennsylvania. Our goal is to ensure the comprehensive, economic and energy efficient rehabilitation of strategically located abandoned properties in Pittsburgh’s East End, which will be purchased by our home-ownership ready families. The strategic utilization of volunteer labor, donated/discounted trade-skill labor, and donated/discounted building materials, allows us to renovate abandoned houses at roughly 60% of the market rate.
As a vital expression of dignity, we take great pride in providing our families with beautiful, high quality, and energy efficient homes. Truly affordable home-ownership means more than an affordable mortgage. The construction component of our services is also an expression of community. Our first time homeowners are vested in the fabric of their neighborhoods, and appreciate the opportunity homeownership affords the next generation. Our program also disrupts blight and overly aggressive gentrification patterns in East Liberty’s formerly redlined neighborhoods.
